My lifelong passion for helping others is deeply rooted in my personal experiences. Growing up, I aimed to support family members who struggled maintaining a positive mindset, which ultimately evolved into symptoms of anxiety and depression. These experiences motivated me to pursue a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University, equipping me with the skills to offer the support and comfort that both I, and my loved ones, so desperately required.

I emphasize the importance of prioritizing self-care. For me, this comes in the form of walking on a beach searching for sea glass, kayaking on a lake, snuggling with (the best cat in the world) Carl, or (my favorite) taking a nap. Through my own self-care journey, I have developed a deep appreciation for how our mental, physical, and spiritual health all play a part in our overall sense of wellbeing.

As a Registered Counselling Therapist – Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists, I prioritize creating a welcoming and judgment-free environment where you feel safe to explore your unique path to wellness. My approach is collaborative and strength-based, recognizing that each individual brings their own experiences, values, and strengths to the therapeutic process. Together, we will work towards understanding your specific challenges, and empower you to navigate your own path to growth and healing.
